Grin Low Country Park & Solomans Temple
Solomans Temple is the tower on the hill beyond the viaduct, which can be seen from the park. There are marked paths to it through the wooded country park from Poole's Cavern. The climb is well worth the effort for the panoramic views of Buxton and surrounding areas. This folly was constructed by a local builder in the 19th century to give work to unemployed labourers. |
