On the edge of the historic spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District. Lime Tree Park is ideally placed for discovering the glories of the Derbyshire countryside. Next to a thickly wooded limestone gorge, and with the backdrop of a magnificent old railway viaduct, Lime Tree is in a Special Landscaped Area and enjoys far-reaching views over nearby Buxton and the surrounding hills.
As a result of extensive up-grading work in recent years, Lime Tree is now classified as Excellent by the English Tourist Board, and has been awarded a 4 pennant Delux Park grading by the AA. Its inclusion in the Alan Rogers Good Camps Guide illustrates our commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
All our spacious touring caravan pitches have electric hook-ups, and hardstandings are available. Both the touring caravan area and the terraced camping area allow visitors far-reaching views of the surrounding hills.
The stylish shower blocks are fitted out to the highest standards, with spacious free hot showers, top quality facilities and heating in the cooler months. A disabled/family room and baby room are also available.
At Lime Tree Park, we have a very modern fleet of luxury 2 & 3 bedroomed holiday homes forhire, accommodating up to 6 people. All our caravans are fully equipped, including colour TV, fridge, microwave and hairdryer. Bed linen is provided, and your beds are made up ready on your arrival.
We aslo have 2 holiday apartments for hire, both of which have fine views. The Corbar on 2 storeys, accommodates upto 6 people, and the Ashwood which is on one level, provides accommodation for up to 4. Both these spacious apartments are very comfortably furnished and are fully equiped to the same high standards as our caravans.
For the children, there is an exciting adventure playground, and we have a TV lounge with pool table to keep everyone occupied whatever the weather. The shop provides your everyday necessities and also sells a wide range of maps and guides, as well as camping spares. A laundrette and payphone are available for customers use.
Dogs on leads are welcome at Lime Tree, and a dog walk area can be found adjacent to the park.
